Please read before using Denkora

By creating an account or using Denkora, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to this policy.

1. Introduction

This Policy explains how Denkora's optional startup verification process works, what it does and does not confirm, and the responsibilities of startups seeking verification.

2. Purpose of Verification

Startup verification is designed to increase trust and transparency on the Platform by confirming certain baseline facts about a startup's registration and existence. It is not a certification of business viability, investment merit, or financial health.

3. Verification Process

Startups seeking a verification badge may be required to submit:

  • Certificate of incorporation or business registration documents
  • Proof of business address
  • Founder identity verification
  • Company website or domain ownership confirmation
  • Additional supporting documentation as reasonably requested by Denkora

Denkora reserves the right to use automated (AI-assisted) checks and manual review in the verification process.

4. What Verification Confirms

A verification badge confirms only that:

  • The startup is a legally registered entity (as of the date of verification)
  • The submitting individual is reasonably confirmed to be an authorized representative

5. What Verification Does NOT Confirm

A verification badge does not confirm or guarantee:

  • The startup's financial health, solvency, or investment merit
  • The accuracy of business claims, metrics, traction, or projections
  • The legitimacy of any specific fundraising campaign
  • Ongoing compliance after the verification date

6. Revocation of Verification

Denkora may revoke a verification badge at any time if:

  • Submitted documentation is found to be fraudulent or inaccurate
  • The startup's registration status changes (e.g., dissolution)
  • The startup violates our Terms & Conditions, Community Guidelines, or Anti-Fraud Policy

7. User Responsibility

Verification badges are a trust signal, not a substitute for independent due diligence. Users must independently verify any claims before making business or investment decisions, consistent with our Investment Disclaimer.

8. Data Handling

Documents submitted for verification are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and retained only as long as necessary for verification and compliance purposes, per our Data Retention & Deletion Policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically as verification processes evolve. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform.
